What Komao does

Komao reads a chat export and turns it into an honest “wrapped” — message balance, response times, who texts first, ghosting, and a read on red flags and interest. There is no account and no sign-in.

How to import a chat

1. In WhatsApp, open the conversation.
2. Tap the contact/group name → Export Chat → Without Media.
3. Share or save the exported .txt (or .zip) file.
4. In Komao, tap Get started → pick the file → choose which person is you.

You can also share a chat straight into Komao from the iOS Share sheet.

Frequently asked

Do you store my chats? No. Chats are parsed and anonymized on your device and are never saved on our servers. See our Privacy Policy.

Do I need an account? No — Komao has no login.

Why can't I export a chat? If anyone in the conversation has enabled WhatsApp's “Advanced Chat Privacy”, the Export Chat option is hidden for everyone in that chat.

How do I delete my data? Because we don't keep your chats or an account, there is nothing stored to delete. Removing the app clears everything on your device.
